This issue begins with the anniversary article: "Short Wave Magazine: 60 years". We would like to congratulate this magazine with this great date.

Than In the "Russia's Air" this time:

"Band news: MW-LW" includes:

- ORF again on MW;
- new frequency for VOIRI;

"Band news: SW" includes:

- strange frequencies of Radio Cairo;
- new frequency for Kazakh Radio;
- The Investment Channel can be picked up in Moscow.

"Clandestine Broadcasting" includes:

In "Utility broadcasting" the final part of the table of prefixes and answers on reader's letters.

"Your letters" review this time begins from the letter of the leader of Moscow sport and technical amateur radio club Mr. Khachaturov as a reaction on our readers letters in MIDXB #50. Also we answer on questions about our contest which have already begun. And two important advertisements:

On Saturday, June the 7th, will be held our next DX-meeting. It will begin at 11.00 MSK in Central Radio Club Building. (Please, contact for more details.)

We began help action for Radio Moldova International. We would like to ask all DXers to monitor the station during several days and compile reception report indicating full information on different type of interference. This reports, please, send to us (125581 Moscow, P.O.Box 65) until May 15. We promise that Radio Moldova International will confirm all your reception reports. Hope, you will help the station.
